Khalid's PhD thesis was titled “Contesting claims and contingencies of the rule on Adivasis of Jharkhand” and was submitted to the JNU in 2018. Khalid describes himself as a hardcore communist who is not a practising Muslim. His MPhil dissertation was on ' Hos of Singhbhum'. He later did his Masters and M.Phil in History at Jawarhlal Nehru University (JNU). Khalid studied history at the Kirori Mal College of the Delhi University. Ilyas is the National President of the Welfare Party of India and a former member of Students Islamic Movement of India - a banned terrorist organisation - which he left in 1985. His father, Syed Qasim Rasool Ilyas, is from Maharashtra, while his mother is from Western Uttar Pradesh. So according to this opinion Umar would be 29 years old when Rasullullah saw received prophethood and he would be a few years older than that when he became Muslim, however according to the opinion of as- suyooti, he was younger than that.ĭear brothers and sisters, Umar Ibn al Khattab was a towering figure, whenever he was in a group, he would be the tallest amongst them. He and Abu Ubaidah they went behind the tree and they started to weep, 'how little we have done? ' And Allah is going to ask us, "what have we done to serve this deen, after the prophet saw? And how little we have done." When he conquered Baitul Maqdis, Jerusalem, the city of the Anbiyah, when he received the keys to Baitul Maqdis, a great honour bestowed upon Muslims, he called for his companion Abu Ubaidah Ibn Jarrah, he says: all of this is because we kept away from sins. Shaitan has given up on Umar, there is no hope, there is no way, it's just a waste of time, that's why Muhammad saw says : whenever shaitan sees you following one road, he would take another, when the enemies of Allah would hear the name Umar, their needs would shake and their hearts would tremble. Such was the love that he had with Allah swt. His love for Allah aa'zawajal was so deep and great that while all the other Muslims, while all the other Muslims were hiding their Islam, he was ready to proclaim his Islam, he was ready to tell everyone about this new Ni'ma, this new Rahmah that Allah aazAwajal bestowed on him. He was on his way to kill the prophet peace be upon him but instead he accepted Islam. Rasullalah salalaahu alayhe wassalam says if there will be a prophet after me, it would be Umar. Umar established the pillars of justice, the truth flows naturally on his tongue, his intuition is always right.
